MEDICAL EVACUATION

PFS’s operation is truly multi-faceted. Our Learjet is turned into a flying Intensive Care Unit and ready for takeoff within 2 hours of call. From the word “Go”, the race for time is on. From Singapore to Ulaan Baatar, our medical team can reach someone with severe eye injury sustained from second degree burns in less than 8 hours. To save life, limb and eye is all in a day’s work.
For comfort, speed and reliability, the Learjet is unsurpassed in its role as an air ambulance. Its 36-inch wide door opens gull-wing fashion and makes it easy to move the patient on a stretcher into and out of the aircraft. The cabin interior is designed for easy conversion into an aerial ambulance configuration with plenty of space for equipment and supplies. Requiring a runway distance of 5000 ft (1,500m), the aircraft can land at many airfields in the region where commercial airliners cannot. Because of our well established strategic alliances with major Medical Alert Centres in Singapore, Pacific Flight Services can assemble a medical team and dispatch the jet within hours. We can also assist with immigration, insurance and evacuation clearances.
On the average, about 200 medical emergency flights are flown in a year. With total, undivided dedication, we set new records with each endeavour – our boundaries expand, new capabilities emerge and activation time is shortened. A new adage is coined, from “time is money” to “time is precious”.
